Special Needs Dance Class (preschool-elementary age)
Wednesdays 6:30-7:15 Cost: $50 a month Starts September 2
Looking for a unique opportunity for your child with special needs? This class is designed for children with physical and developmental disabilities. A safe environment is established for students to explore their physical movement, express themselves, and gain a healthy body awareness while developing social skills and practicing proper classroom behavior. Students may participate in the Spring Dance Recital on June 12th. The teacher, Jen O’Neill, holds a Master of Education in Dance. In addition to teaching upper levels of a variety of dance styles, she has experience working with younger children in pre-ballet, pre-tap and creative movement levels of learning.

If your child automatically begins to move or tap their toe when they hear music this is the class for them. Students will be able to enjoy social interaction and freedom of expression while working with a group. There will be opportunity to sing, perform with some instruments, and listen to a varied repertoire of music. Students may participate in our Winter and Spring Music Recitals. The teacher, Kyle Schafer, has a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental/General Music and a minor in education. He is licensed to teach in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.
